The Zip Money product in New Zealand is retiring
Zip is no longer accepting new applications for Zip Money in New Zealand.
From 6 February, Zip Money in New Zealand will no longer be available to make new purchases.
All other Zip products, including Zip Pay in 4, will continue as normal. If you already have a Zip Money account in New Zealand, these changes will not affect any current repayment plan you have.
Existing Zip Money customer?
Please be aware that:

From 6 February 2026, you will not be able to use your account to make new purchases.

If your account balance is $0 on 6 February 2026, Zip will close your Zip Money account.

If you have an owing balance on your account on 6 February 2026, these changes will not affect your current repayment plan. Once you repay your owing balance, Zip will close your account.
